COMMON
AREA REGULATIONS
- All parties or gatherings that include any type of recreational structure and/or equipment i.e. tent, bouncers, slides, etc and/or parties of 25 or more persons must have a Use Permit. A maximum of 200 persons may not be exceeded. The hours the area is available for scheduled events are from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.
- The person applying for the permit must be a resident and/or dues – paying member in good standing of Gila Springs Association. The applicant is responsible for the behavior and activities of his guests. Gila Springs Association assumes no responsibility or liability for any accidents or injury suffered by anyone at the event.
- A deposit of $100.00 will be required with the permit application. If there is no damage, the deposit will be refunded following the event. If it is determined there are damages, the cost of repair will be deducted from the deposit. If the amount of damage exceeds the $100.00, the resident/member obtaining the permit is responsible and the amount may be collected by the Association as detailed in the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions.
- The applicant shall provide proof of $100,000 of personal liability insurance by a copy of his homeowners or tenants policy. A business shall provide a certificate of insurance for $1,000,000 of liability coverage.
- The Use Permit shall be obtained from the Management Company or online at www.gilaspringshoa.com and returned no later than two weeks preceding the date of the event. The management company is:

- If the event is over 25 people and the time span exceeds two (2) hours, a PortaJohn will be required for the convenience of the guests. The PortaJohn shall be removed within 24 hours.
- All animals or pets must be on a leash at all times. “Pooper Scooper” clean up is the animal owner’s responsibility.
- All trash or debris produced at the event must be removed and the area cleaned up after use.
- All alcoholic beverages are prohibited at all times.
- Driving any type of motorized vehicle including go-peds on the bike paths and/or grassed areas to get to the gathering area is forbidden.
- Any damage to the sprinkler lines due to driving of staked, poles, etc. into the ground will be the responsibility of the applicant.
- No fishing is allowed except by bonafide Gila Springs residents / guests or others as specified in the Gila Springs Association fishing regulations.
- You are expected to be considerate of others who also have access to the common areas. Your Use Permit does not render exclusive rights to any of the common areas. The permit reserved a ramada/table for your use. Your Use Permit will need to be posted at the Ramada that you have been assigned.
- Please be aware that noise and loud music may be disturbing to the neighbors and others. Be considerate. No amplified music is allowed.
- Be reminded that Gila Springs Boulevard is a city street and illegal parking will result in the City of Chandler Police Department issuing tickets for any violations.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS TRUSTS THAT YOU WILL ENJOY THE USE OF THE COMMON AREAS, WILL ADHERE TO THE REGULATIONS GOVERNING THEIR USE AND RECOGNIZE THE RIGHTS OF OTHERS.
